I (Catherine) am joined here by Ali McClure who always has a technique to support our learning as childminders or as nursery or preschool practitioners.

As we explore oracy, agency and assessment we discover that all of these concepts go beyond the considerations of the child and how this falls into what spark endeavours to support – to get it right for everyone so it can be right for each child.

Ali introduces the concepts of INSIGHT to Ofsted’s, Intent, Implementation and Impact and follows this through with IMPLICATIONS.

We discuss also how the Enable, Evaluate and Enhance mantra of sparkearlyyears sits with her concepts of assessing and broadening practice further.
